Fran Drescher & Her 'Happily Divorced' Cast On Why They Don't Need Guest Stars

Fran DrescherFran Drescher is back! The grapheme of 'The Nanny' is backward to her roots -- sitcoms -- after giving a tawk talk exhibit a try. But this is no mediocre comedy. Drescher is teaming with ex-husband and 'Nanny' co-creator saint Marc Jacobson to bring a fictionalized edition of their chronicle to audiences. In the new TV Land sitcom 'Happily Divorced' (premieres Wed., June 15 at 10:30PM ET), Drescher and Jacobson endeavor their real-life status -- they had a ostensibly perfect wedlock until Jacobson came out as gay -- for laughs. The couple is divorced now, but just as happy as before. Fran stars as a fictionalized edition of herself, with 'Best In Show' grapheme Evangelist archangel Higgins as saint and 'West Side Story' stager Rita Moreno as Drescher's mother. At Monday's execute party for 'Happily Divorced,' Drescher told AOL TV she wasn't indecisive in transfer her personal chronicle to the screen. "We were already composition a movie," Drescher said.
